Novartis Pharma ontvangt Samuël en Robertson

Algemeen Directeur Novartis Pharma Onno Luimers, de directieraad, en Erica Terspra adviseur van Novartis Pharma, ontvangen David Robertson en Julia Samuël van stichting Drive Against Malaria op het hoofdkantoor in Arnhem.

Samuël en Robertson brengen verslag uit over de laatste ontwikkelingen in centraal Afrika aan de directie van Novartis Pharma. Samuël zegt in haar speech: "We are enormously grateful to be here in good health after the hostage taking in Central Africa. After our release we continued our mission.

Looking back at the 25 years of the foundation we protected over 6 million people in Africa. We era all in this together. Jointly with the effective Novartis product Coartem we find sollutions to malaria challenges."

Luimers zegt: "We admire the courage of Julia and David, fighting all challenges in Africa in the fight against malaria and never give up. It is amazing how you make such a difference. After a terrible event you are still able to put it into perspective of all good things that you brought to patiënts suffering from malaria."

Ook wordt de gelegenheid aangegrepen om de jubileumuitgave 'DRIVE' te overhandigen aan de heer Luimers, de directieleden en Erica Terpstra.

Novartis Pharma steunt de stichting Drive Against Malaria met financiële ondersteuning sinds 2010.
